We are hiring Resident Engineer (RE) , responsible for managing and supporting a broad IT infrastructure stack. This role demands hands-on expertise in Fortinet security solutions , Dell enterprise storage , backup systems , and core systems administration . Ideal for professionals who enjoy being the go-to technical expert in dynamic environments. 

Key Responsibilities  

Act as the on-site technical lead for infrastructure operations and escalations for the customer. 

Administer and support Fortinet security solutions : 

• FortiGate : Firewall configuration, policy management, VPN setup 
• FortiAnalyzer : Log analysis, compliance reporting 
• FortiManager : Centralized device management 
• FortiClient EMS : Endpoint protection and policy enforcement 

Manage and maintain Dell EMC Storage Solutions : 

• PowerStore , Unity XT , VxRail , Compellent  
• Storage provisioning, performance tuning, firmware upgrades 

Administer Dell Data Protection Solutions : 

• Dell Data Domain : Deduplication storage, replication, retention policies 
• PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) : Backup orchestration, policy configuration, recovery operations 

Perform routine Windows Server  and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)  administration: 

• User/group management, patching, scripting (PowerShell/Bash), backup 

Support VMware vSphere/ESXi  environments and virtual networking 

Troubleshoot network issues (VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP) 

Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, incidents, and change logs 

Collaborate with client IT teams and vendors for escalations and project implementations 

Required Skills & Qualifications  

• 4+ years of experience with Fortinet security appliances  
• Strong understanding of network security , firewall rules, NAT, VPNs 
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC storage  and Data Domain systems  
• Familiarity with PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM)  and backup workflows 
• Proficiency in Windows Server  and Linux  administration 
• Experience with VMware virtualization  and basic networking 
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and client-facing skills 

Preferred Certifications  

• Fortinet NSE 4/5/6  
• Dell EMC Proven Professional  (Storage/Data Protection) 
• VMware VCP , Microsoft MCSA/MCSE , Linux+  

Nice to Have  

• Experience with backup tools, Operating System, SAN etc. 
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments 
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and service desk workflows
