Job Location - Gurgaon Work Days - 6 days week About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Legal Generalist to serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all legal matters at our Patna hospital unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal activities, including litigation, contract management, and general hospital legal processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex legal landscapes, provide sound legal advice, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The person will work closely with the hospital’s management team, corporate legal department, and external legal counsel to safeguard the hospital's interests. Responsibilities · Handle all legal disputes, claims, and litigation involving the hospital. · Maintain comprehensive records of all litigation cases and provide regular updates to the hospital management and corporate legal team. · Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, leases, and partnership agreements. · Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements, hospital policies, and industry standards. · Provide legal advice and support to various departments on contractual matters and risk mitigation strategies. · Ensure timely renewals, amendments, or terminations as necessary. · Ensure all contracts are properly documented and accessible in the centralized contract management system for the hospital unit · Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize legal risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. · Support the hospital management team in developing strategies to address potential legal risks and opportunities. · Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may impact the hospital’s operations. · Ensure the hospital complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including licensing, accreditation, and reporting obligations Qualifications: · A minimum of 4-7 years of experience as a legal professional, with experience in healthcare law being an advantage. · Experience in litigation, contract management, and general corporate legal matters. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. · High level of integrity, ethics, and professional conduct.
