Job Title: Senior IT QA Tester Notice period: Immediate Joiners or 15 to 30 days Joiners Needed Client: Assured Partners Payroll: Dminds Department: Information Technology Reports to: QA Manager, IT Location: Offshore Job Code: QA Must-have Skills: Guidewire and Vertafore Experience Must Needed Summary: The QA Team is looking for an energetic, motivated, and dedicated QA Tester with exceptional communication and writing skills to work alongside our QA Team on Information Technology (IT) related projects. We offer an opportunity to work on industry standard’s QA practices along with Automation and Performance tools. Job Description: • Mandatory US Experience in either: Implementation & rollouts & support for US based: Agency Management Systems or Insurance Systems. • Preferred: Experience in Applied products: Epic P&C, Docs & Vertafore: Benefit Point with Vertafore products: Ancillary tools. • Experience min: 5 – 8 years. • Self-Confidence & ability to deliver. • Ability to work / coordinate Onshore /Offshore Model. • Good communications skill - verbal & written. (Fluent in English.) • Ability to build test plans, test suites in Azure dev ops. • Test data preparations & Executions. • Worked in a hosted / VDI environment. • Flexibility in working hours: EST Coverage. • Daily Status reporting on progress, issues & concerns & to have a mitigation approach. • Build & Review of Smoke / Functional / End to End with integrations / Regression test cases. • Plan / Execute – Test suites across releases to ensure functionality meets the requirements & data integrity & quality & test artifacts. • Good Experience on handling Defect Management process. (Issue, bugs - creation, updates, testing, closures.) Required Qualifications - • Experience in Automation & Performance is preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills to actively listen, communicate in ways that foster trust and show flexibility. • Team spirit and the ability to work with a group of diverse people, provide recognition and reward. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under deadline pressures. • Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively. • Demonstrate leadership, diplomacy, and motivational skills. • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, research, and multitasking skills. • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude. • Perform other QA related task and other duties as assigned by the Manager. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related technical or business area is preferred. Knowledge & Certifications in Agile & Scrum.
