About the role

Netskope Private Access (NPA) is our new (ZTNA) product that large Fortune 500 enterprises use and rely upon everyday for secure access to their private applications. NPA reduces risk by providing zero trust application access instead of network access.

What's in it for you

The Netskope Private Access (NPA) team is a cross-functional group of talented engineers responsible for the end-to-end development of NPA. As a member of this team you will play an integral part in the continuing development and evolution of this cloud-native service.


What you will be doing

Developing test platforms to allow services to scale with high-quality and reliabilityDeveloping and supporting tools and infrastructure that meet the requirements of our engineering teamCreating, influencing, and improving our test tooling, infrastructure, standards, and methods to ensure we can achieve scalability and high reliabilityDeveloping and sharing best practices with our engineering team to improve automation and efficiency.Increasing observability of the product to help other engineers diagnose and fix issues.Building a strong CI/CD environment with efficient development and scalable automation frameworksBeing a vocal owner of the services/products you work on while focusing on performance, availability, diagnostics, monitoring, security, etc.Leading and mentoring your peers as we grow the organization Participating in rotation of production deploymentParticipating with the dev teams in a 12X7 on-call rotations to provide infrastructure point-of-view support.

Required skills and experience

10+ years of demonstrable experience building services/products/toolsProgramming mastery with Python, Go, C/C++, etc.Knowledge of and proficiency in deploying common industry test/build/CICD/Infrastructure as code tools and technologyA customer-centric view of the role - you enjoy the challenge of working with your customers to establish excellent solutions that solve their toughest problems.The ability to "fix the plane while in flight"Experience designing scalable services leveraged by millions of clientsExperience working with and/or building automation frameworksExperience in designing/building REST servicesExperience in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and KubernetesExcellent verbal and written communicationComfort with ambiguity and taking initiative to find and solve problems, bugs, etc.

Education

BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
