Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. This role will primarily involve designing featured images for our websites and creating social media thumbnails, banners, and creatives as instructed by the Social Media Head. The ideal candidate should not only bring solid design expertise but also have a strong interest in Hollywood entertainment, anime, and gaming to create engaging visuals that resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design featured images for articles published on our website.
  • Create thumbnails and social media creatives (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, etc.) that align with branding and campaign goals.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Head to deliver content-specific creatives for dedicated pages (anime, fandoms, movies, gaming).
  • Ensure designs are optimized for web and social platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in entertainment, anime, and gaming to produce fresh, engaging visuals.
  • Maintain consistency in design style across different platforms while tailoring visuals for specific audiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in graphic designing with a strong portfolio (web and social media assets preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design tools.
  • Ability to design engaging thumbnails and creatives optimized for social media platforms.
  • Basic understanding of what we cover—Hollywood entertainment, anime, fandoms, and gaming.
  • Strong sense of color contrast, composition, and typography.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working with entertainment, pop culture, or media brands.
  • Familiarity with memes and internet culture to make content more relatable.
