We have an emerging need for someone with an understanding how a business functions as well as how data and information is best organized to deliver insight. The focus of this position will be to help design, build and manage financial and operations models within Anaplan to provide key business and financial insights to the business stakeholders of customers.

The candidate will be a part of a global team that is on a digital transformation mission and is working to integrate different business platforms to create a seamless architecture that will help facilitate intelligent and intuitive financial as well business planning along with generating material business insights.

The individual will be working closely with the Anaplan solution architect and the Anaplan team along with various functional stakeholders. The individual will help translate existing business process into Anaplan.

You should also demonstrate excellent communication and technical skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection of business requirement
  • Assist in current-state process mapping exercises
  • Articulate design and documentation for Anaplan models (process map, user guide, solution design document)
  • Translate business requirements in the form of excel models and/or user stories into efficient and scalable high-functioning Anaplan models.
  • Successfully identifying various dimensions, lists(hierarchies) and line items, thereby creating a user-friendly solution
  • Create Hub-spoke & ALM structure along with user experience pages using the NUX
  • Work with subject area data experts to identify new or enhanced data to support the new or enhanced capability
  • Collaborate with the Business Architect to stay current with business design and supporting solutions and associated stakeholders
  • Develop test cases and assist in UAT on the technical and functional acceptance
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across various business functions
  • Closely follow Anaplan model building best practices
  • Detailed understanding & working experience on GTM, Data Integrations, Cloudworks, Anaplan connect & other ETL tools, PlanIQ, Reporting pages, Polaris, Workflow management and active in contributing to Anaplan Community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or software engineering or equivalent experience or Chartered Accountant, MBA (Finance).
  • 4+ year modeling with Anaplan or end-to-end Anaplan implementations
  • Anaplan Level 3 certified or above
  • Anaplan model building experience is must and having an exposure to other EPM technology for e.g. n, SAP BPC, SAP SAC, Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the forecasting process and various business functions (Sales, operations, Finance, etc.) Good understanding of Planning Budgeting & Forecasting is must
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Project management certifications, agile certifications will be an added advantage
