Requirement: Need hands-on experience in Fabric data engineering, nature of work is to do POCs on Fabric for migrating existing Azure workloads to Fabric (One lake is the at play here)

JD:

• Design and implement POCs for migrating Azure workloads (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake) to Microsoft Fabric.
• Leverage OneLake as the unified data storage layer and explore its integration with existing pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Fabric-native services.
• Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to evaluate performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of Fabric-based solutions.
• Document migration strategies, performance benchmarks, and lessons learned from POC implementations.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Engineering, Data Factory, and Direct Lake features.
• Strong understanding of OneLake architecture and its role in unified data storage.
• Proficiency in Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, ADLS, Azure SQL, etc.) and experience migrating workloads from Azure to Fabric.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Delta Lake, and lakehouse concepts.
• Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and orchestration is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud migration projects.
• Exposure to Databricks, AI/ML integration, or real-time analytics within Fabric is advantageous.
• Strong communication and documentation skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
