The Junior IT Buyer will play a crucial role in our procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT goods and services to support our organization's needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of IT procurement.Responsibilities:Assist in the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and develop procurement strategies to meet their needs.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the procurement process.Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to make informed purchasing decisions.Assist in the evaluation of vendor proposals and participate in vendor selection processes.Support the procurement team in various administrative tasks, such as vendor correspondence, invoice processing, and budget tracking.Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing procurement activities.Manage contracts, maintain records on platforms, and working with different teamsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Mandatory 1.5 to 3 years of hands-on experience in procurement, preferably in an IT-related environment.Previous experience in procurement, preferably in an IT-related environment, is desirable but not required.Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and make sound decisions.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
