Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle EPM Functional Consultant to lead and deliver Oracle EPM Cloud implementations. This role demands in-depth functional expertise in EPM modules and requires collaboration with business stakeholders to translate financial planning and reporting requirements into effective Oracle EPM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Oracle EPM Expertise: Lead functional implementation and configuration across key Oracle EPM modules: Planning (formerly EPBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), Narrative Reporting (EPRCS), and Tax Reporting (TRCS).

- Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze performance management needs and configure Oracle EPM solutions aligned to business goals.

- Solution Design and Implementation: Design business processes and technical configurations. Oversee solution build, data integration, testing, and migration for EPM modules.

- Data Integration and Reporting: Coordinate with technical teams for integrations with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud ERP, EBS, or others) and ensure reporting accuracy.

- Functional Leadership: Lead end-to-end EPM implementations including workshops, fit-gap, design, configuration, UAT support, and go-live.

- Best Practices & Innovation: Promote industry and Oracle-recommended best practices, and contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Communication & Documentation: Create functional documentation (BRD, CRP, training material), and facilitate client workshops and demos effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Oracle EPM implementations (Cloud or on-premise), including leadership on at least 2 full lifecycle EPM projects.

- Deep functional knowledge of multiple Oracle EPM modules (as listed above).

- Strong business process understanding of Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, Consolidation, and Reconciliation.

- Hands-on experience in configuring metadata, forms, business rules, security, task lists, and dashboards within EPM.

- Experience in working with Smart View and reporting tools (FR/Narrative Reporting).

- Exposure to data integration tools like Data Management (FDMEE), and REST APIs is a plus.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

- Exposure to Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials) and understanding of source systems feeding into EPM.

- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and project tracking tools (JIRA, MS Project).

- Oracle Cloud EPM certifications.

Language Requirements

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Note

While prior Oracle Finance (ERP) exposure is advantageous, this role is primarily focused on Oracle EPM functional leadership. Candidates with broader ERP Finance experience (GL, AP, AR, FA) may be considered if they possess deep EPM delivery experience.
