Job Summary

As a senior member of the Custom IC Business Unit, you will be working to design and develop a complex, first-of-a-kind innovative software solution that help the top electronics design companies design their latest cutting-edge designs. The team you will be a part of is focused on providing automation to the analog design flow and applying ML techniques to improve productivity of the designers. As part of the team, you will be working on aspects of machine learning, design exploration, floorplanning, placement, routing, simulation to build a tool to put them all together into a flow that allows semiconductor companies to cut their design cycle time considerably. You will be working with customers to understand their key challenges, and working out how this solution will help them address it in achieving their design goals.

Job Responsibilities :

Work with domain experts to develop a large-scale, distributed software solution that leverages ML to provide an end-to-end analog design flow Ideate to design and create solutions in this space. Create methodologies to deploy, maintain and enhance these solutions. Drive methodology and solution-oriented discussions with key stake holders Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in AI, software development, and system architecture.

Qualifications

BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech/PhD in CS/Electronics

Experience and Technical Skills required

10+ years of software engineering experience on large-scale production systems Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated software systems. Strong proficiency in C++. Knowledge of SKILL/Lisp is a plus Knowledge of/experience in EDA, especially in the domain of analog design, will be an additional bonus Must have excellent software design, implementation and debugging skills

Must possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management Explore what's possible to get the job done, including creative use of unconventional solutions Work effectively across functions and geographies Push to raise the bar while always operating with integrity
