We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled L3 SOC – Network Security Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for managing and enhancing our security posture by providing expert-on-site support, troubleshooting, and leading security initiatives across a diverse range of technologies. You'll be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, with the ability to mentor junior team members and engage directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for a wide array of security devices and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and resilience.
  • Lead incident response for escalated security incidents, driving resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in design discussions with customers, offering recommendations and insights for security architecture enhancements.
  • Conduct design reviews, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose robust security solutions.
  • Perform complex configuration changes, upgrades, and design modifications across various security platforms.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their technical growth and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 9+ years of experience in security devices and technologies.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and managing at least 6-7 technologies from the list below, with working knowledge across 8-10 technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience and expertise in:
  • Firewalls: Palo Alto, Juniper (SRX Series)
  • VPN: Cisco ASA, IPsec VPNs
  • DNS Security: Cisco Umbrella
  • IDS/IPS: McAfee (Network Security Platform), TippingPoint
  • Advanced Threat Protection: FireEye
  • WAF: Akamai (Web Application Firewall)
  • Proxy: Zscaler ZIA, ZDX
  • Email Security: Cisco IronPort (Email Security Appliance)
  • DDoS Protection: Arbor Networks
  • Demonstrated ability to perform configuration changes, upgrades, and design modifications for security solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead and resolve escalated incidents effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
