The role is responsible for hands-on preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems to ensure reliable plant operations. The position also supports electrical project execution under supervision, with a strong focus on safety, execution excellence, and equipment availability.Key Responsibilities1. Electrical MaintenancePerform preventive and corrective maintenance of motors, control panels, transformers, VFDs, and lighting systems.Assist in troubleshooting and restoring equipment during electrical breakdowns.Record maintenance activities in SAP PM / CMMS systems.Ensure all maintenance activities follow approved SOPs and checklists.2. Project ExecutionSupport installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.Verify cabling, wiring, and terminations as per approved drawings and standards.Coordinate with contractors and vendors during project execution.Maintain panel drawings, cable schedules, and as-built documentation.3. Safety & ComplianceStrictly adhere to LOTO, PPE, and permit-to-work procedures.Maintain safe working conditions and good housekeeping in substations and panel rooms.Participate in safety trainings, audits, and awareness programs.Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.4. Documentation & ReportingMaintain maintenance checklists, logbooks, and daily activity reports.Report abnormalities, risks, and improvement opportunities to seniors.Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, and internal documentation requirements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Preventive maintenance compliance (%)Breakdown response and closure timeElectrical safety adherenceAudit and documentation complianceQualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical EngineeringExperience: 2–5 years in electrical maintenance, utilities, or project execution within a manufacturing environmentRequired SkillsStrong understanding of electrical circuits, motors, control systems, and safety practicesBasic knowledge of SAP PM or CMMS softwareFamiliarity with IEC / IS standards and statutory complianceGood communication and teamwork skills
