What You Will Do:

The Assistant Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting:

- Maintain the general ledger and oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments

- Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards

- Perform reconciliations for control accounts such as AR, AP, inventory, and fixed assets

- Monitor recurring accrual entries for consistency and accuracy

Accounts Management:

- Ensure timely billing, collections, and payments

- Review estimates / provisions for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency

- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts to ensure timely payments and collections

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs

- Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend actions to optimize cash management

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records

Fixed Asset Management:

- Maintain records of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules

- Conduct periodic physical verification of assets to ensure alignment with Revenue and cost reconciliations between the internal systems and the external sources of information

- For the deviations, follow up and get the same reconciled between multiple sources

- Taxation: Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax laws and deadlines

- Audit Support: Prepare audit schedules, respond to queries, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
