Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer (Automation)
Location: Ahmedabad
Industry: Electrical & Automation
Experience Required: 2-5 years of sales in electrical or automation industry
Education: Bachelor's degree / Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.

Job Summary
They are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth by identifying opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and promoting our electrical and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent sales and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Electrical & Automation sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and solutions to customers based on their needs.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within Electrical & Automation industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, automation, PLCs, SCADA, and control systems.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial automation, IoT, and smart factory solutions.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
