Job Summary

To look after simplification / automation of different business processes, and leading business excellence initiatives (Special Projects for SCM, Process Automation, Inventory control etc.)

Areas of Responsibility

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports, including insights from data. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets. Identify anomalies within the dataset and clean the dataset. Project Collaboration: Collaborate with the MD's office on special projects. Work on supply chain management (SCM) and manufacturing operations projects. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Sustain new processes through proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and training initiatives. Process Automation: Understand the scope of automation and define its implementation in place of manual interventions.

Requirements and Skills:

Experience: Proven working experience (3-10 years) as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SAP tables (SD, MM, PP, QM). Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (Python, R, or ABAP). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
