Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the development of Enterprise Architecture standards, working closely with other Architects and Stakeholders to establish and review all technology standards.
  • Oversee the Governance Process for reviewing project designs, ensuring solutions align with business and IT strategy, are robust, and adhere to established technology standards.
  • Collaborate with execution teams to provide timely recommendations and drive solution design towards optimal outcomes that align with our Long-Term Strategy and Standards.
  • Work with Business Stakeholders and Product Owners to develop comprehensive business capability roadmaps, framing long-term business strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT Leaders and Stakeholders to develop technology capability roadmaps, analyzing the landscape for critical deficiencies or gaps, and defining long-term IT strategy.
  • Be responsible for the Enterprise Architecture tool suite, enabling users to manage products and make strategic plans effectively.
  • Serve as a leader who articulates a clear vision to multiple audiences, driving toward long-term strategic outcomes incrementally through IT initiatives.

Education Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • A minimum of 14 years of experience in the IT industry, with hands-on development experience in Java, Microservices, Cloud Providers, Hybrid Cloud, or Multi-Cloud environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Enterprise/Solutions Architect.
  • Experience leading multiple dependent, parallel work streams is highly valued.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and analytical skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
  • A systems thinker with the ability to move fluidly between high-level abstract thinking and detail-oriented implementation, summarizing large amounts of information for multiple audiences.
  • A self-starter who is naturally inquisitive, able to quickly learn new technologies and tools, and requiring only small pieces to the puzzle across many technologies.
  • A fact-driven decision maker with the ability to make quick decisions in uncertain circumstances.
  • Broad and deep understanding of industry standard concepts, patterns of application architecture, patterns of architecture change, methodologies, and principles.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale, highly available, robust software solutions, particularly using Service-Based and/or Event-Based Architectures.
