About the Role

The Operational Excellence team OE) is a key stakeholder for Harman's engineering and business community, offering various SW solutions, Automations, Tool integrations, maintenance, infrastructure, and support for our company's toolchain.

Within our global R&D team, you shall act as a developer and administrator for our SW solutions.

Your Team

The OE team is part of our DigITal IT – Software Excellence department - working mostly for the Automotive division and extendedly for the rest of our global divisions and users.

Our focus areas cover the Health & Hygiene of the application stack; Improving the user experience through automations / Bots & self-service; Technology consumerization; implementing industry best practices and KPI metrics publication.

What You Will Do

You will be the interface between our internal/external customers and our toolchain, to design and develop SW services and provide end-user support. You will technically own the existing business processes designed and developed within the tools, ensuring system data availability and business enablement. As a system administrator you will maintain the tools & services (where appropriate, in collaboration with tool vendors), plus the server infrastructure with our OE colleagues. You will get to contribute to business requests, company objectives as well as team internal goals, offering you multiple opportunities to grow and become successful. The focus will be on our internally developed Defect Management suite (ELVIS, TMS, TDT), but not limited. We're looking for an experienced candidate to handle incoming L1 to L3 requests in context of configuring, implementing, and establishing solutions for our broad toolchain. You'll get the chance to extend your skills and become cross-functional in other areas like: Task management, Source code repositories, FOSS, Reporting platforms, PM Tools, etc.

What You Need

6+ years' experience with multiple technologies: primarily C/C++ under Windows and Linux, My SQL. Secondarily C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, JS, CSS, XML, JSON, HTML5. 6+ years' experience with SQL Server Management Studio; Visual Studio. Experience in developing and debugging software using APIs, REST, Web services. Hands-on experience as a system/tool administrator is an advantage. Experience in maintaining/further developing business processes. Knowledge of data schemes, Plug-Ins, Business Logics. Sound knowledge of software development processes University degree in engineering. (Information Technology or appropriate graduation) Excellent English skills. (written and spoken)

What is Nice to Have

DevOps experience; CI/CD knowledge preferred. Software Tools Administration experience
