OMS Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, identify problems, and propose effective solutions.
• Lead the implementation of digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
• Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to delivery.
• Work closely with client teams to foster growth, enhance capabilities, and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project workflows, deliverables, and timelines effectively.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution blueprints and design specifications.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on solution architecture and digital transformation.
• Proven experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail business processes and technologies.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and project management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using architectural modelling tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from concept to delivery.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, CSM) are a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern technologies (e.g., AI, IoT) relevant to retail.
• Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and system interoperability.
