Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tech Support Engineer in Paramount Communications Ltd. for our valued customer GAIL India Ltd., located in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Tech Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer support. The role will involve close interaction with customers to understand and resolve system related technical issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting our product to resolve our customers' technical issues. You will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. Your ability to work in complex networking environment will also make you an ideal candidate.
Qualifications
B. Tech. in E&C with 2+ years' of technical support experience.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
Customer Support and Customer Service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Responsibilities
Reproduce customer environment and run tests.
Liaise between sales team, customer success team, and customers to properly address customer problems.
Troubleshoot and configure software and hardware.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely manner.
Provide technical assistance and resolve issues effectively.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and network issues.
Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams (e.g., development or advanced support).
Document and track issues using a ticketing system.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as development and quality assurance.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates or system optimizations.
