Job Description:

We are looking for a Video Playback and Streaming Developer to develop multimedia software technologies, capabilities and solutions that meet the needs of automotive and consumer markets. We are looking for people who love technology and have a strong interest in what they do.

Job Duties and requirements

Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions.Develop new software written primarily in CIntegrate silicon provider codecs into QNX multimedia framework for audio and video decode/encode.Integrate multimedia with other key technologies (Android, 3rd party software, etc).

You will have:

Proven experience in enterprise software developmentStrong knowledge of C languageExtended background working with multimedia integration and low-level drivers.Experience with RTOS, Linux/QNX/AndroidExcellent communication skills.A passion for development and enjoy working as part of a development team

It would be great if you have:

Technical understanding of multimedia frameworks, codecs, containers and streaming formats, is a big asset.Low-level experience with Linux and/or Android is a big asset.Experience with streaming protocols, like RTP, HLS, DASH is a big assetExperience with phone connectivity platforms, such as CarPlay, Android Auto is a big asset.
