Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice President for our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, strategic planning, and transaction execution within the IT services industry. This role involves leading M&A activities, including identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, and managing the integration process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and execution.
Conduct financial modeling, valuation analyses, and due diligence for potential acquisitions.
Develop and present investment proposals and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of acquired entities.
Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other external advisors.
Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify strategic opportunities for growth.
Mentor and guide junior team members, providing training and development support.
Required qualifications:
MBA in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CA or CFA preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in M&A with a focus on the IT services industry.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven track record of successfully leading and closing M&A transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of the IT services industry and market dynamics.
Experience with cross-border transactions and international M&A.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ.
