Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive the growth of our goat and sheep meat product line, including curry cuts, boneless cuts, and offals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales within the HORECA, General Trade (GT), Catering, and Institutional Sales channels in Bengaluru. You will develop and maintain relationships with key clients, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration within the HORECA, GT, and Institutional channels.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in hotels, restaurants, catering services, and institutional buyers.

- New Business Development: Identify potential clients and initiate contact to expand the customer base. Proactively seek out and engage prospects.

- Order Fulfilment & Coordination: Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and manage client expectations.

- Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.

- Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the management team.

- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets for product lines, with a focus on volume, revenue, and profitability.

- Customer Support: Handle post-sales issues, including product quality feedback and resolution of client concerns.

- Payment Collections: Ensure timely collection of payments from clients, managing outstanding receivables and coordinating closely with the finance team to address any payment issues.

Key Skills:

- Proven experience in meat sales, knowledge of goat and sheep products (curry cuts, boneless, offals).

- Strong network within the HORECA, General Trade, Catering, and Institutional channels.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Target-driven with the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

- Knowledge of local Bengaluru market trends and customer preferences.

- Proficient in MS Office and sales tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in B2B meat sales, preferably in goat and sheep product lines.

Experience in the HORECA and institutional sales channel is a strong advantage.

Ability to travel locally within the city for client meetings.
