Placement Officer Engineering Campus

Key Responsibilities:Coordinate campus recruitment drives and facilitate the entire placement process. Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier companies across industries, particularly in engineering and technology domains. Organize employability training, mock interviews, and resume workshops. Maintain placement records, analyse placement trends, and generate reports for management. Ensure students meet industry expectations through timely pre-placement training sessions (Aptitude, Technical, Soft Skills). Communicate effectively with academic departments and deans to align placement strategy with student skill development. Handle logistics for placement events, including pre-placement talks (PPT), online/offline test facilitation, interview rooms, etc. Guide students in internship opportunities, project placements, and higher education/career counselling. Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in placements, recruitment, HR, or academia (engineering institutions preferred). Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office and placement management tools. Preferred Skills:Knowledge of current engineering job market trends. Relationships with IT/tech companies, core engineering firms, and start-ups. Exposure to ERP/ATS systems for placement tracking.
