Job Summary :

We required skilled and motivated Linux Engineer with a strong background in Linux server management, virtualization, and container orchestration as well as expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and MySQL databases. A solid understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure automation is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

Server Administration :

- Install, configure, and manage Linux servers.

- Harden servers to enhance security and performance.

- Proactively monitor and optimize system performance.

Hypervisor & Networking Management :

- Install and harden hypervisors such as Xen virtualization platforms.

- Understand and apply IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN configurations, and basic networking concepts.

- Work with networking devices, including firewalls and switches.

- Handle LAN, WAN, and wireless network configurations.

- Configure and manage VPN and IPsec VPN Orchestration and Database Management :

- Manage Kubernetes environments, including pods, services, deployments, and stateful sets.

- Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as Helm, Kustomize, and Terraform.

- Design and implement microservice-based architectures.

- Provision and manage MySQL instances, including clustered and non-clustered configurations.

- Configure replication, backups, recovery, and migration for MySQL databases.

- Handle common database maintenance and upgrade procedures.

Additional Responsibilities :

- Collaborate and communicate effectively through emails and and Experience :

- At least 3 years of experience in Linux server management and administration.

- Proven experience (3-5+ years) working with Kubernetes and Docker.

- Solid understanding of Xen virtualization and logical volume management.

- Familiarity with networking concepts, including VLANs, IP addressing, and VPNs.

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform.

- Strong knowledge of MySQL database management and replication.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
