General Accounting – Assistant Manager

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading global provider of Finance and Accounts solutions. They provide accounting solutions that help corporations and financial institutions. As a core member of our Finance and Accounting team you will be working with experienced industry professionals to deliver services for day to day Finance and Accounts activities.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining books and records for different financial activities.Coordinating and Reviewing Financial Statements and associated reports including performance metrics/quarterly reporting.Communicate the transactions associated with the account and work closely with internal and external clients to provide accurate and thorough accounting packages.Coordinate of payments and other transactionsSupervise production analysts, review and signing off the work performedActing as primary contact for clients and other stakeholdersMeeting client expectations by monitoring timely delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly deliverablesEnsuring all escalations are addressed timelyActing as primary contact for inter departmental reports.Direct the team to manage timelines, workflows, and deliverables within agreed SLAs.Monitoring progress of assigned team members for additional training and development

Requirements for this role include:

4-5 years of experience in accounting for financials services sectors particularly Hedge Fund AccountingExperience in reviewing financials statementsUser experience with enterprise accounting system4-5 years of experience using MS-Excel that required you to use Formulas, Tables & Formatting,

Conditional Formatting, Charting, Pivot tables & Pivot Reporting.

Independently handling of client calls and monthly and weekly reviewsSupervisory skills with 2-3 years of experience in managing the staff.B.com is the desired educational qualification for this role.
