Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@ril.comMain PurposeTo operate and monitor FPSO process systems safely and efficiently within guidelines set by the Production Manager and Control Room. The role involves continuous monitoring of assigned equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations for achieving production targets. The Sr. Engineer also coordinates with the Panel Engineer during start-up and shutdowns, especially during plant upsets, and guides field engineers in executing critical operations.Job AccountabilitiesMonitor plant and equipment performance, availability, and reliability. Report any deviations to the Panel Engineer for timely rectification.Operate pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, pressure vessels, and tanks in accordance with established guidelines.Act as Area Authority as defined, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in full compliance with work permit conditions.Participate in risk assessment exercises and ensure appropriate emergency response during drills and actual emergencies.Ensure proper shift handover procedures and correct follow-up on ongoing jobs. Review and discuss all completed and ongoing work permits during shift changes.Maintain clear and concise logs of all relevant events, including inhibit logs, to ensure Control Room and succeeding operators are fully aware of plant status at handover.Record operating parameters in log sheets and initiate corrective actions if parameters deviate from the defined operating envelope.Ensure timely release of equipment for maintenance and prepare equipment for safe working conditions. Ensure PTW compliance and timely closure of permits to restore equipment availability.Participate in toolbox talks and ensure continuous gas monitoring during hot work or confined space activities.Participate in maintenance discussions and support root cause analysis where required.Complete assigned checklists on time and assist the Shift Engineer / Shift Manager in troubleshooting activities. Communicate field abnormalities to the Panel Engineer / Shift Engineer promptly.Provide inputs for alarm rationalization, reduction of false alarms, and assist in preparing shutdown plans, process and mechanical isolations, WCDs, and chemical inventory updates.Identify and stop unplanned discharges and report them immediately. Ensure waste disposal follows the correct procedure and monitor pollution control measures.Ensure proper chemical injection and optimize chemical usage.Relay accurate and concise information to seniors, the Control Room, and FPSO management as required.Mentor and support new field engineers.Skills RequiredOperation of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, pressure vessels, and tank farm systems.PTW system implementation, equipment changeovers, and identification of abnormalities.Thorough knowledge of process systems and plant operations.Knowledge of DCS, PLC, and fire & gas systems.Understanding of field instrumentation and condensate & gas metering systems.Knowledge of product contractual specifications.Effective communication skills.QualificationsGraduate degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Petroleum EngineeringExperienceSpecific Experience: Minimum 4 years in offshore/FPSO field operationsOverall Experience: Minimum 8 yearsInterested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@ril.com
