Key Responsibilities

Market & Strategy

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer insights to identify opportunities and pain points.
  • Track competition, industry trends, and market developments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Define market growth strategy and align organizational efforts to achieve annual targets.

Product & Channel Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop trade marketing requirements and specifications.
  • Lead initiatives to onboard, train, and engage channel partners including dealers, retailers, influencers (architects, masons, interior designers, and contractors).
  • Drive adoption and execution of product launches in alignment with sales and marketing teams.

Trade & Retail Execution

  • Plan and implement in-store visibility initiatives including POP materials, signage, branding, and displays.
  • Support expansion of exclusive stores (franchisee) and MBOs while enhancing customer experience at touchpoints.
  • Execute zonal activations such as retail promotions, roadshows, exhibitions, trade events, and influencer meets.
  • Collaborate with agencies to deliver impactful BTL activities that drive brand visibility and footfall.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain dashboards to monitor scheme effectiveness, dealer performance, and branding compliance.
  • Regularly report on trade marketing KPIs such as footfall uplift, secondary sales growth, brand recall, and partner satisfaction.
  • Track key product and trade metrics, analyze performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Financial & Administrative

  • Effectively manage zonal trade marketing budgets, ensuring ROI on spend.
  • Ensure timely invoice submission and monthly provisioning.
  • Maintain transparent reporting to stakeholders on progress and execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in Building Materials / FMCG / Consumer Durables industry.
  • Strong understanding of channel dynamics, retail execution, and influencer engagement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of driving trade visibility, dealer engagement, and market growth.
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective trade marketing programs.
