Online Marketplace Optimization Lead

Role PurposeThe purpose of this profile is to manage and optimize our presence on onlinemarketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and others. This role requires a strategicthinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deepunderstanding of e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate aboutdriving sales, enhancing product visibility, and building strong relationships withmarketplace partners.ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize our presence on multiple online marketplaces, including but not limited toAmazon, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa Fashion, etcDevelop and execute strategies to increase sales, improve product visibility, and drive traffic to our listings.Monitor marketplace performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for marketplace initiatives.Maintain strong relationships with marketplace representatives and stay updated on platform updates, policies, and best practices.Continuously optimize product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, and keywords, to enhance discoverability and conversion rates.Implement pricing strategies to remain competitive and maximize profitability on each marketplace.Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities and potential threats.Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies related to e-commerce and online marketplaces.Provide regular reports and insights to management on marketplace performance, trends, and key.Behavioural Competencies - Results orientation - Attention to detail - Resilience - Analyze trends, and optimize marketplace performance - Good time management skills - Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with teams - Identifying new opportunities, to positioning the company for successQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.Proven experience of 2-3 years managing online marketplaces, preferably in a retail or ecommerce environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis.Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools such as Amazon Seller Central.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing product listings for search engines is a plus.
