Junior Backend Developer

AIIR is an AI-driven incident response platform designed to help organizations detect, respond to, and manage security breaches effectively. We’re building cutting-edge systems combining microservices architecture, AI orchestration, and best-in-class engineering practices, and we’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our team.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript in a monorepo setup with PNPM.

• Work with PostgreSQL as the primary database and TypeORM as the ORM layer.

• Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Repository Pattern, and other architectural best practices.

• Write unit tests and ensure code quality through proper testing strategies.

• Build scalable microservices with strong focus on dependency injection and modular design.

• Contribute to AI orchestration flows using LangChain and LangGraph in JavaScript.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure secure and performant backend services for the platform.

• (Optional but nice-to-have) Assist in minor ReactJS work for internal tools or dashboards.

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of backend development experience (fresh graduates welcome).

• Strong knowledge of Node.js with TypeScript.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and basic SQL concepts.

• Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development principles.

• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design, repository pattern, and clean architecture is a plus.

• Basic understanding of microservices and API design principles.

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks in Node.js.

• (Good to have) Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or AI orchestration concepts.

• (Bonus) Some experience or exposure to cybersecurity, incident response, or breach handling.

• (Nice-to-have) Basic knowledge of ReactJS.
