Position: Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant.

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Shift Timing: 11:30 AM IST – 8.30 PM IST

Experience Required: 5-7+ Years

Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to support our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules, including:
  • Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects
  • Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer to:
  • Debug existing AX customizations
  • Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL
  • Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration
  • Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality
  • Create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation step

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later)
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.
