The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Platform Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EPM tools and platforms, along with experience in end-to-end implementations, financial reporting, and compliance management. This role requires hands-on experience with financial consolidation, integration with ERPs (specifically SAP S/4HANA), and proficiency in report building, ETL, and UAT processes.

We are looking for someone who can adapt quickly, manage complex project budgets, and is comfortable working in environments with many subject matter experts (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • EPM Tool Expertise: Lead and manage EPM platform implementations from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery and adoption of the platform.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee and enhance financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within the EPM system, providing quick and efficient solutions.
  • Financial Consolidation: Manage and streamline financial consolidation processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • ERP Integration: Lead integration efforts with other ERPs, specifically SAP S/4HANA, to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation for all EPM platform implementations, configurations, and customizations.
  • Report Building & Dimension Setup: Design and configure reports, set up dimensions and hierarchies, and manage data flow for accurate business intelligence and analysis.
  • ETL & UAT: Oversee ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business needs.
  • Project Budget Awareness: Monitor and manage budgets for EPM-related projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with multiple SMEs across departments and ensure smooth communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

The Profile

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with EPM platforms (such as Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, or SAP BPC).
  • End-to-End Implementations: Proven track record of managing full-cycle implementations of EPM systems.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of report building, ETL processes, system integrations, and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, able to resolve system issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Commercial Awareness: Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and understanding the financial impacts of EPM systems in large projects.
  • Documentation & Process: Strong documentation skills and an ability to create clear, user-friendly guides and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with various subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to smaller project environments and work with diverse teams rather than just large corporate settings.
