Description

We are seeking a skilled AWS Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, project management, and a deep understanding of AWS services. This role involves authoring Statements of Work (SOW), achieving AWS competencies, writing technical blogs, and managing ongoing projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Authoring SOW: Identify project requirements and convert them into comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW). Author detailed SOWs that clearly outline project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and pricing. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure SOWs accurately reflect client requirements and align with Aivar capabilities. 

  • Achieving AWS Competencies: Assist in achieving and maintaining AWS competencies by aligning projects with AWS best practices. Stay updated with AWS competency requirements and ensure compliance.

  • Technical Writing/Blogging:  Produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), white papers, technical blogs (AWS/AI, other similar topics etc.), user guides, and other project-related documentation. Share insights, best practices, and innovative solutions with the community.

  • Authoring Project Management Summary: Send regular stakeholder summaries and updates to keep all parties informed of project progress.

  • AWS Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices. Continuously expand your AWS knowledge base and achieve relevant AWS certifications/competencies.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, marketing, and customer support, to gather information, clarify requirements, and ensure project success.



Requirements

Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in technical writing, project management, and AWS cloud technologies.

  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.

  • AWS Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and best practices. AWS certifications are highly desirable.

  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and translate technical information into easily understandable documentation.

  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.

Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player.
