We Need You.Job DescriptionJob Title: Manager, Marketing & Consumer Insights – GBS CommercialLocation: Bengaluru, IndiaReporting to: Senior Manager – Marketing and Consumer InsightsPurpose of the RoleAs Manager – Brand Insights & Analytics, you will lead the design and delivery of high-impact research and analytics solutions for our brands. You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable business insights, driving commercial value, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful project execution. You will also partner with global stakeholders and contribute to business growth through proposals, thought leadership and solution innovation.This role leads the delivery of high-quality, timely, and business-relevant insights for Marketing and Commercial functions. You will drive value creation through consumer and shopper insights, analytical problem-solving, and collaboration with both in-country and global teams.You will combine deep category knowledge, research expertise, and analytical skills to deliver actionable insights that inform brand and business decisions across markets.2.Key ResponsibilitiesInsight Delivery & Business PartnershipLead strategic engagements: define objectives, design methodology, oversee data collection/analysis and deliver high-quality insights.Lead and manage the continuous Brand Tracking program (Kantar Brand Guidance), ensuring robust insights and timely delivery of reports.Translate complex data from multiple sources (Kantar, Nielsen, Panels, Social Media, Sales, etc.) into clear, actionable business recommendations.Conduct deep-dive analyses to address strategic business issues and identify growth opportunities.Partner with in-country Insights Managers and Brand Teams across Europe, Africa, and the Americas to ensure insights drive decisions and strategy.Strategic & Ad-hoc ProjectsLead strategic insight projects beyond routine tracking, focused on long-term brand and commercial growth.Manage ad-hoc requests: define project scope, estimate timelines, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Consolidate multiple data streams (HH Panel, Nielsen, Survey, etc.) to generate holistic brand and consumer understanding.Drive innovation in methodologies and analytics (e.G., advanced statistical models, predictive analytics, segmentation, shopper insights).Collaborate across internal teams (data science, product, operations) and with clients to shape new offerings and solutions.Process Transformation & StandardizationDrive automation and standardization across Insight processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.Develop and implement best practices in analytics, storytelling, and data visualization.Team LeadershipLead and develop a team of 6 analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.Build analytical and storytelling capabilities within the team through coaching and mentorship.Business EnvironmentBased in AB InBev GCC (Bangalore), this is a global insights delivery role supporting multiple zones (Europe, Africa, and the Americas).Requires strong collaboration with global Insights Directors, in-market brand and insights managers, and GCC commercial teams.Operates in a fast-paced, virtual, and multicultural environment — balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.3.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsEducation:Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.Experience:10+ years of experience in FMCG, Retail Insights, Analytics, or Consulting.7+ years in market research and analytics (brand health tracking, shopper insights, or consumer analytics).3+ years of people management experience, preferably leading cross-market/global teams.Experience managing multiple data sources and external vendors/agencies.Technical Skills:Must Have: Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and strong statistical knowledge.Good to Have: Python, SQL, or other data manipulation tools.Strong data storytelling and visualization skills — ability to turn numbers into narratives.Key Competencies:Strategic Thinking & Problem SolvingData-Driven Decision MakingStakeholder Management & CommunicationCollaboration & Influencing SkillsAgility and Continuous Improvement MindsetAnd above all, an undying love for beer
