At Orikai, we’re building a kids wear brand that blends timeless tailoring with playful charm, inspired by old money aesthetics and crafted for modern families. As we prepare for launch, we’re looking for a visionary Head Fashion Designer to lead our creative direction and bring our collections to life. We design for children aged 2 to 12, blending classic silhouettes with playful charm celebrating the art of dressing well at an early age.


Your Role

As Head Designer, you’ll:

  • Lead end-to-end design for Orikai’s kids wear collections (ages 2-12).
  • Work closely with our master tailor and sampling team to translate designs into perfectly executed garments.
  • Oversee pattern-making, fittings, and ensure superior finishing.
  • Source fabrics, trims, and work with vendors to maintain quality & timelines.
  • Manage the production cycle, from sketches to final pieces.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in fashion design for kids wear
  • Strong eye for detail, storytelling, and premium aesthetics.
  • Practical knowledge of fabrics, measurements, construction techniques, and finishing.
  • A balance of creativity and commercial awareness.
  • Someone who thrives in a startup environment - hands-on, proactive, and passionate.
