Senior Engineer – Project Management

 

Experience 6-8 years

 

Responsible for this work instruction are the PDP-responsible Mangers of BUI, BU2, BU3 and Sales. The work instruction coordinator is the Director of Corporate Personnel Development.

Project Structure & Targets plan, get approval, control success factors & secure project success [e.g. lifetime ROS].

Project Budget & Cost plan, get approval, update & control [including Capex, ROS] - in all involved regions.

Project Schedule & Timing plan, control, execute & update [including sub-projects, milestones, phases & work packages]

Project Performance, Quality, Scope & Deliverables plan & control, [including all requirements, responsible core team members internally & externally, work packages, LOP/Action List & MAHLE APQP].      

Project Organization & Documentation plan, get approval, update & control [including rules of collaboration in the project team].

Manage problem resolution within the project scope. 

Project Meetings plan, execute & drive decisions [core team & extended team].

Project Risk Management execute assessment, make proposals for risk mitigation, update, control [e.g. feasibility, intellectual property rights, contract performance over all tiers for internal and external suppliers]

Project Information & Transparency plan & execute information & project transparency.

Project Stakeholders & Interfaces Management [identify stakeholders plan & execute communication, manage internal interfaces, support Sales for customer approvals & payments, secure transfer of project to production].

Execute Project Reporting

Organize & Control Project Changes

[including product, process, quality & other business parameters].

Execute Project Reviews & Escalation [e.g. MSP approval, PRC & other reviews].   Project Closure plan & control [including lessons learned, etc.].

 

Responsibilities

Monitor all tasks as described above in responsible project(s).

Realize the customer and MAHLE requirements (negotiated and agreed) in line with the project targets.

Manage changes to the mutual benefit of the customer and MAHLE and support negotiation processes from Sales especially during concept / acquisition phase.

Immediate information to the responsible committee in the event of imminent risks & target deviations incl. resource issues.

Provide continuous information to all project staff and involved persons (e.g. regular team meetings).

Adhere to targets & MAHLE business processes & standards.
