Amazon RME team is established with a vision to deliver reliable systems and process that maximize the capacity of Fulfilment & Logistics network across Amazon in India, including Fulfilment Centers, Sort Centers, AMZL (Amazon Logistics) and GSF (Global Specialty Fulfilment) sites and support sales growth in order to exceed customer delivery expectations.
IN-RME team has been consistently functioning towards ensuring 100% safe operations, maximize equipment availability with optimum workforce. RME Team has raised equipment reliability and delivered equipment uptime to 99.8% and improved safety standards with no on site serious Injury (SI) in previous years.
ABOUT RME Manager-I Role
As RME Manager-I, your location will be at one of the Amazon warehouse site. Your roles and responsibilities will be as given below.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance of building and related facilities in order to ensure high Reliability of equipment operation and optimization of Cost of RME operations
• Responsible for maintenance of equipment/Systems that constitute MHEs, Base building and their associated control systems (Material Handling Equipment include conveyors & associated PLC based controls, Motorized and hand operated Trucks, Carts, Trollies and palletization/packaging and labelling and weighing equipment . Base Building systems include Electrical distribution systems, HVAC, Fire & Safety Systems, Compressed Air systems, Domestic and waste Water treatment systems, System of Dock shutters/Dock Doors and dock levelers, Building Management systems/IBMS etc.)
• Responsible for guiding and leading a team of Engineers and Technicians at site
• Develop, implement and govern Preventive Maintenance process related to all the warehouse equipment.
• Develop and implement vendor AMCs with appropriate service levels for equipment
• Follow up required material purchasing with the Procurement Team
• Develop and implement a spare part identification plan and maintain stock levels
• Provide feedback and analysis on equipment performance and availability
• Manage day to day issues on equipment with the Operations teams, defining Priorities with Operation, and organize the work with his team
• Define goals, priorities, organized staff planning, staff training to ensure service levels.
• Responsible to keep people working in a safe environment, applying the Amazon Safety Policy and working with the Safety team to improve safety on site.
• Responsible for building housekeeping to keep the site within 5S standards
• Coordinate with Projects Engineering team for installation and commissioning checks of new equipment
• Provide immediate technical guidance to operations during critical events.

Key job responsibilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Looking for a Technical graduate(B.Tech / B.E) with minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of Facilities , Maintenance Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Should be well verse with MS office tools like Word, excel, PPT and data analytics. Preparation and review of the RCA, CAPA, LOTO, business review documents
