Job Description:

   

HPE Operations is our innovative IT services organization. It provides the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customersâ outcomes from their digital transformation â giving clients the most effective solutions for a fast-paced, modern business along with the expertise to achieve maximum business benefit, and to deliver better experiences.

What you will do:

  • Extensive troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability required for Windows OS, Windows Cluster, Performance issue, RDP issue and Hyper-V.
  • Good experience required on Hyper-V management.
  • Cluster -   Strong Knowledge and experience required for MS Failover Cluster Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of cluster issues. Ability to provide the RCA with the available logs.
  • Windows - Server 2008 till 2022 installation, configuration, and end to end support for OS related issues. Dump file analyzing.
  • Patching -   Good Experience required in Windows patching and Hyper-V host patching.
  • Good Knowledge required on DNS, DHCP and GPO.
  • Tools - Good experience required on various MS tools like , Perfmon , procmon and netmon.
  • Scripting â Good to have PowerShell scripting knowledge.
  • Process â Good Knowledge on ITIL process.

What you will bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in Windows Administration, Hyper-v Administration, MS cluster Administration, Networking, Performance Tuning, Patch Management, Windows Upgrades into production environment.
  • Adoptive for 24x7 Shift Support and work from office
  • Strong communications skills â Excellent spoken and written English communication.
  • Effective, polished interaction with customer to gather information quickly; explain customer responsibilities in resolving issue; communicate next steps and status; and inspire confidence
  • The successful Support Engineer has the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve difficult customer issues; directly supports customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting skills
  • Cross-team collaboration
