Mainframe System Admin Role with environment to application level (CICS region to endpoint)

Must Have –

  1. Mainframe system activities like ZFS directory tree per environment for object storage
  2. Creating RACF SSL keyring for TCP/IP encryption
  3. Define CICS TCPIPSERVICE for endpoint for each environment (each CICS region)
  4. Define CICS PIPELINE definition for service endpoint (service endpoint equates to URL+PORT+request path)  

Good to have -

  1. Create JSON Request and Response structures.

Nice to have -

  1. COBOL/CICS programming
  2. Exposure to Postman or other similar applications
  3. IBM DB2 – table schema change, creation of new tables, implementations (changeman and SQL exposure for Data changes)

 

1) Should have Strong Mainframe System Admin Skills

2) Working experience in Mainframe and Java Scripts

3) Should be able to work in overlap EST timings for better communication with Client and Onsite. 

4) Should be able to write JSON API and develop schema Changes and integrate Javascipts and Mainframe
5) Should be able to define containers and wrapper coding
