IT Expert Client OS & deployment

 

The IT expert is responsible for the development of the ZF client infrastructure to ensure rapid deployment for ZF software development processes (Cloud and OnPrem). Implementation of automation for client maintenance. Innovation of the ZF client infrastructure for the Operating Systems used (Linux, Windows, MacOS) in a virtual and hardware environment. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

• Perform system design, engineering, installation, configuration, maintenance and support of client infrastructure areas in Azure, Open Stack and on prem

• Develop Cloud Infrastructure for to enable ZF´s cloud based software development. 

• Focus and implementation of process automation and drive creative innovations 

• Develop and optimize tools and processes to fulfill the needs of internal and/or external customers in the future.

• Create and communicate technical concepts and service related concepts that fit all skill levels within the organization

• Consultation and coordination with other Teams (IT, Engineering)

• Create and innovate global corporate IT standards

• Operational support of the global ZF Client Infrastructure services for all OS (Ubuntu, RedHat, Win10/11, MacOS)

 

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor degree and 3+ years of working experience of the IT field in the areas – Linux Client/Server landscape (Ubuntu, RedHat), Microsoft landscape, MacOS.

• Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS and Openstack)

• Linux Client and Software Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, GIT).

• Container solutions (Docker, Openshift, Podman…)

• Script languages (e.g. bash, Python, Powershell, YML…)

• English language skills (Proficient Speaker)

• Analytical abilities in addition to strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to diagnose performance issues and tune system performance

• Work with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management

• International travel

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Basic knowledge in Programming languages (e.g. c#, Java, PHP, MySQL, Python...)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

• ITIL®, LFCS certifications

• Experience in the Automotive industry
