We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our infrastructure team. Challenge yourself in the fast-paced world of cloud infrastructure and become an integral part of the group that directs SAP’s strategy to move to the cloud. 

 

What you’ll do

Analyze the existing infrastructure and provide expertise on containerization and migration to Kubernetes (K8S).
Develop, test, and maintain build systems, CI/CD frameworks, and deployment tools. Automate and streamline deployment processes.
Assess new technology projects and tools or migrate our environment to new versions to keep up with the rapid pace of change.
Design, develop, and support various tools and applications related to CI/CD infrastructure, microservices, and cloud services.
Collaborate with architects to ensure tools development adheres to best practices.

 

What you bring

4-7 years of experience in cloud platforms, cloud infrastructures, and cloud technologies.

Experience in Python, Linux skills (must have)

Preferred experience in Ansible and Kubernetes
Experience working with Unix systems.
Experience working in datacenter, cloud, and network environments.
A cloud mindset with an affinity for automation (Bash, Python or Ansible).

 

Meet your team

SAP's Global Cloud Services (GCS) provides cloud-based solutions and services to customers worldwide. We manage SAP's cloud infrastructure, including capacity, architecture, hyperscaler cloud oversight, and security.

The Hardware Management team is dealing with hardware related topics for SAP's own infrastructure as a service cloud solution. These are various coming from project management, development and automation topics. The team is spread globally to support all datacenter locations.
