Job Description SummaryThe Services Systems Engineering Program Manager position role will be a recognized leader in the gas turbine business. This role will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives associated with the broader Services Systems Programs. This role will have significant exposure to senior leadership across Engineering and Product line.

The Services Systems Engineering Program Manager will be responsible for full program ownership, budget controllership, and accountability for leading horizontally across the NPI Systems, Operations, Product Management, Global Supply Chain, and Power Generation Engineering teams. Additionally, in coordination with the Services Systems SIL’s and Platform Managers, the Services Systems Program Manager will make sure the programs are executed as per expected timeline and quality. The person will be a visible champion of the various Services Systems processes.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and actively manage Services Systems program schedules and budgets that meet company objectives.

  • Take responsibility for program ownership and budget controllership, including cost and cycle preparation, proper maintenance of eNPP Year End Estimates (YEEs), budget profiles, tracking labor spend to plan, identifying and addressing variances, and taking actions to improve execution and incorporate lessons learned.

  • Have deep knowledge of the value of requested activities associated with the Services NPI Programs.

  • Teaming with Product Management and the Gas Turbine Platform Leaders to create and cultivate the MGPP (Multi-Generation Product Plan) and MGTP (Multi Generation Technology Plan), to ensure continued viability of Company Power offerings in the market.

  • Driving Standard work and creating Lean Smartsheet templates, reports that can track health and progress of each program.

  • Develop Dashboards that will provide transparent visibility to leadership and to the team members on how program is trending on technical deliverables and budget.

  • Identify Continuous improvement opportunities on Fleet Leader Inspection execution process. Develop efficiency and accountability in the process to make sure that on field inspections happen as planned, early indicators on equipment reliability (failure mechanism) are captured and the learnings from inspection are shared with larger module teams. Thus, enable creation of better future products and protect GE’s reputation in the market.

  • Support Monthly CSE MOR discussions from Services Systems team.

  • Encourage creativity around ways to improve efficiency and speed throughout the organization.

  • Ensure that the workflow into the GPE organization is aligned with business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master of Science/Technology in Engineering

  • Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or program management experience in HD GT F-2-F.
