The Opportunity
Nutanix NDB team is looking to hire strong technical individual contributor to help define and drive the development of next-gen NDB UI.
Engineering / R&D at Nutanix
We at Nutanix NDB build the only hybrid multi-cloud DBaaS for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL. Efficiently manage hundreds to thousands of databases with no complex migration required. Quickly and easily provision new databases, automate important but tedious administrative tasks like patching and backups, and choose the right operating systems, database versions, and database extensions to meet application and compliance requirements.
Your Role

You will design & develop highly engaging, responsive UI features for the core product.
Work closely with product and design teams to create an enterprise-grade user experience for industry-shaping products.
Work closely with development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
Engage with customers and support when needed to solve issues.
Be a team player and good at communication.

What You Will Bring

4-6 years of experience as a Front-End/UI engineer.
Experience in designing and implementing modular user interfaces in HTML5, Javascript, and CSS.
Experience in SPA and frameworks like ReactJS/BackboneJS/AngularJS and basic Node.js is a must.
Good in basic data structures, algorithms and code complexity.
Excellent understanding and experience in integrating with REST API and JSON is a must.
Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V is desired.
Experience with SCM like Git, Build tools like Webpack, CI/CD like Jenkins, and Unit test frameworks like Jasmine, Jest, and Selenium.
Basic AWS, Azure knowledge and SaaS development experience are desired.
Experience in visualization libraries like D3 highcharts to develop dashboards and reports is desired.
A bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

You'll be reporting to Suseendran, our skilled Manager of Engineering who has been with Nutanix since 2019. Suseendran specializes in Microsoft Technologies and currently leads a team of 7 dedicated individuals.
