About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in credit risk analysis, SQL, and Python to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess over five years of experience in data analysis, with a specific focus on credit risk assessment and management. You will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets, developing risk models, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct comprehensive credit risk analysis to identify, measure, and manage credit risk across portfolios.

– Develop and maintain credit risk models, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.

– Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources.

– Employ Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation of data processing tasks.

– Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.

– Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.

– Continuously monitor and improve risk models and analytics processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

– Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk management and data analysis.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

– 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on credit risk.

– Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

– Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

– Experience with statistical analysis, risk modeling, and machine learning techniques.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

– Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.

– Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

– Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in credit risk management.
