Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Ledger Management:
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Record journal entries accurately and timely to reflect financial transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate financial reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Assist in financial analysis and variance explanation.
Reconciliation:
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of transactions.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve outstanding items.
Audit Support:
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls and processes.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the general ledger function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and streamline workflows.
Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting practices and regulations.
Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues on accounting matters.
