Global Delivery is a critical part of the business operations at State Street. We have around 30,000 staff various locations around the world including our key hubs in EMEA, APAC and North America and our global hubs in Hangzhou, China, Krakow and Gdansk in Poland and Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai in India. In India the number is around 15000.

Functionally, we are the backbone and nerve center supporting the entire investment servicing lifecycle across our key asset classes - Asset Management, Asset Owners, Insurance, Alternatives including PE, RE and Hedge and the Official Institutions and a wide spectrum of investment servicing products.

We are looking for a Chief Administrative Officer for GD in India. GD India is an integral part of our global operations delivering custody, accounting, fund administration, alternatives, middle office, transfer agency and on-boarding services across multiple client segments, investment structures and domiciles.

Who we are looking for

As Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for GD, you will be responsible for directly supporting the GD functional leads and the head of GD in India with a focus on performance metrics, strategic reporting and analysis for across GD functions in India, aligned to global divisional objectives. Your primary reporting line will be to the Head of GD India and functional reporting will be to the COO of GD.

What you will be responsible for

As Chief Administrative Officer for Global Delivery in India  you will

  • Engage with key stakeholders from the Business Unit globally to align ongoing efforts, eliminate parallel workstreams, and create transparency
  • Coordinate completion of functional reporting; Including preparing materials with key metrics and insights
  • Periodic Client reporting â Collaborate with GD functional leads in minimizing client complaints, addressing red amber client and work towards converting the RAG to Green
  • Track YTD headcount, attrition and reporting on potential challenges of Hiring /resources
  • Track YTD headcount vs budgets and forecast at GFL-2 level
  • OKRs tracking and updates
  • Communications- To be led by Internal comms with a SPOC aligned to GD
  • Partner with leaders to drive GD initiatives involving people, performance, clients and  financials
  • Contribute towards firms GD Simplification target through technology optimization
  • Work towards GD/GTS collaboration to execute GDS target and focus on innovation
  • GD India Governance Framework

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorâs degree and an advanced degree in Business Administration or other related field, or a combination of undergraduate degrees
  • Minimum of  15 years of executive management experience
  • Demonstrate skills in problem assessment and resolution as well as collaborative problem solving in a complex setting required
  • Possess excellent communications skills with evidence of successful leadership and administrative/supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to analyze trends, encourage and make recommendations for creative change
  • Results-oriented individual with the persistence and patience necessary to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituents
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior level staff, middle management and administrative divisions.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and lead team efforts
  • Strong numerical ability, analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral presentations skills
  • Attention to detail and a flair for numbers
