Overview:
A Software Regression Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining regression testing frameworks to ensure that software applications remain stable and functional after changes or updates. This role involves a mix of software development, quality assurance, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Regression Tests:

Create and maintain test scripts, test cases, and test data.
Ensure tests are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.

Test Execution and Analysis:

Execute regression tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas of improvement.
Tracker and report defects, ensuring they are properly documented and resolved.

Continuous Integration and Delivery:

Integrate regression tests into continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
Monitor and maintain test environments to ensure they are up-to-date and functional.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand application features and changes.
Provide feedback on software quality and participate in code reviews.
