Work Description/Role

Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in financial institutional firms, sell side research houses or economic agencies in macroeconomic research, economic report writing and data collation and/or related areas Candidates with experience in using third party market databases such as Datastream, Bloomberg would be preferred, but not mandatory

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Global Asset Allocation team of AON across global locations. The position provides support to the firms investment consulting operations in the execution and delivery of investment consulting services to external clients. The individual will primarily be responsible for conducting macroeconomic research and providing macroeconomic reports and financial market updates on various asset class performance across different geographic regions. The individual will be required to produce such reports in a time bound manner and also assist with coordination and completion of research tasks, data collection and analytical work including client presentations for a variety of regional offices around the globe.

Skills & Knowledge

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills

(Behavioral)

Good academic background and understanding of macroeconomics and financial markets. Report writing skills on financial asset classes, especially covering the investment industry. Understanding of various financial asset classes and their risk return profiles Knowledge of MS Office product suites
