WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, SKA within BCG Transform - BCGâs transformation, turnaround and restructuring business, based in India - you will be part of an expanding global team. Your responsibilities include delivering industry and/or functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory. Youâll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.

Additionally, you will support the Regional Business Manager (APAC) to support the regional leadership team and provide customized knowledge, analyses, and coordination across the core practitioner group and other interested parties within the firm. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.

This includes establishing executional certainty through a well-coordinated transformation office, ensuring financial tracking, and implementing rigorous processes and tools. We focus on enabling leaders, engaging people, and fostering a culture aligned with the transformation vision. Leaders are empowered and accountable, while teams are motivated and equipped to contribute to the transformation, supported by target behaviors that are reinforced throughout the organization.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
The responsibility of the SKA is to be a support partner for our BCG Transform (TRF) consulting staff to help towards our goal of designing, delivering and commercializing a range of highly value-adding and differentiated knowledge services and products that help BCG succeed in the marketplace. With some leverage s/he needs to be as comfortable delivering on the detail and getting their âhandsâ dirtyâ as with the strategic thinking required in the role. Your job responsibilities will include following:
Work with case and proposal teams -
  • Partners with case teams in India and beyond to address critical knowledge needs
  • Provides customized support for BCG Transform proposals and client work to prepare well developed commercial documents
  • Delivers original analysis and insights to case team, provides thought partnership
  • Acts as the âgo-toâ person globally for BCG Transform topics for case and leadership teams
  • Acts as a thought partner, establishes credibility with case teams and provides problem solving and topic/sector expertise insights
  • With consultants, collects, synthesizes, analyses case team learnings and inputs into new knowledge products (vignettes, experience)
  • Provides deep financial analysis on companiesâ P&L and Balance Sheet
Work with the BCG Transform regional team/ global Knowledge Team -
  • Support Regional Business Manager on regional coordination of business within AP (Asia Pacific) region
  • Contributes to content development for meetings & trainings
  • Drives self-initiated knowledge products in collaboration with the team
  • Contributes in building BCG Transform best practice vignettes repository
  • Collaborates globally on internal intellectual capital development such as Tier 1s, PA tools, etc
  • Actively supporting and leading the development of publications, reports and articles

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 1-2 + years of consulting experience
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Passion for, and ability to quickly develop skills and knowledge in transformation, restructuring, turnaround, change management and other related fields
  • Sound understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet financial KPIs
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling
  • Proficiency in one or more data analysis tool, e.g., Tableau, Alteryx will be an advantage
  • Ability to build & maintain a strong internal network
  • Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills, able to work well with range of people and able to communicate with all levels of seniority
  • Ability to operate/influence effectively in a matrix organization as an autonomous, self-starter
  • Good stakeholder management and influencing skills, business acumen
  • Master's degree preferred with superior problem-solving skills
  • Native or equivalent Hindi language skills

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. The BCG Transform Knowledge Team is comprised of more than 10 analysts globally and deeply embedded in client work as well as the development of publications, IP and tools for the practice area.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PAâs business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
