Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company and through a dotted line to the Group CFO of the Neterwala Group. The responsibility and accountability for all financial and accounting matters of the company lies with this position. In addition, the CFO will oversee the management of the IT function, working closely with the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) to drive the organization-wide IT mandates.

Role Expectations:

- The CFO is expected to go beyond conventional financial management duties and play an integral role in shaping the company's strategic business planning and fostering its growth.

- Duties encompass financial accounting, reporting, MIS, budgeting, variance analysis, costing, audit, internal controls, tax planning, and compliance for the business. This position works closely with the corporate treasury team on fund management activities.

General Background:

- An ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role in an organization with revenue exceeding INR 150 Cr.

- The candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry, with a certain level of complexity in accounting, costing, and inventory valuation.

- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand these inherent complexities and devise appropriate solutions.

Experience Sought:

- The candidate should show the ability to manage the finance position of the business and support in growing the business. The candidate should have considerable experience in implementing SAP modules in a manufacturing business.

- Leadership: The candidate will need to prove leadership ability to drive transformational cultural change to enable the business to be globally competitive. Change is sought through SAP implementation, adoption of world-class practices, and order-of-magnitude improvements in process efficiency. As a key member of a new leadership team, the ideal candidate should exhibit maturity in effectively steering and adapting to change. Success in this role hinges on an initiative-taking approach to positive change management.

- Travel & Mobility: The position is based in Mumbai (Group Corporate office at Vikhroli). However, the CFO will be expected to travel for about 10 -12 days a month to visit plant locations, sales branches, and customers.
