We are currently seeking a Java Developer - Digital Solution Cnslt. Sr. Consultant to join our team in Gurgaon, Haryāna (IN-HR), India (IN).

Objective:**

  - To upgrade existing Java libraries to the latest stable versions across all relevant applications.

  - To resolve all existing and potential Snyk security vulnerabilities associated with the current Java libraries.

  - To improve error log handling and enhance monitoring alert systems.

2. **Boundaries:**

  - The project will encompass all applications currently utilizing Java libraries that are flagged by Snyk.

  - The scope includes only the upgrade of Java libraries and does not extend to other programming language libraries or frameworks.

  - The project will cover the development of new error log handling procedures and the enhancement of monitoring alerts but will not include a redesign of the overall application architecture.

3. **Functionalities and Features:**

  - **Java Library Upgrades:**

    - Identification of all Java libraries in use that require upgrades.

    - Assessment of the latest stable versions suitable for each application.

    - Systematic upgrade of Java libraries to the assessed versions.

    - Verification of application stability and performance post-upgrade.

  - **Snyk Issue Resolution:**

    - Comprehensive audit of current Snyk security reports.

    - Prioritization of issues based on severity and impact.

    - Remediation of identified security vulnerabilities.

    - Reassessment through Snyk to ensure no outstanding issues remain.

  - **Error Log Handling:**

    - Development of a new error logging system or enhancement of the existing one to ensure comprehensive capture of errors.

    - Implementation of a categorization system for errors to facilitate easier analysis and resolution.

    - Automation of error notification processes where critical.

  - **Monitoring Alerts:**

    - Review and enhancement of the current monitoring alert system.

    - Integration of alerts with the upgraded Java environment.

    - Customization of alert thresholds to minimize noise and focus on critical issues.

    - Establishment of alert response protocols to ensure timely action.

4. **Deliverables:**

  - A report detailing the upgraded Java libraries, including versions and applications affected.

  - A Snyk vulnerability report pre- and post-upgrade.

  - Documentation outlining the new error log handling procedures.

  - An updated monitoring alert system with a guide on its operation and maintenance.
